City of Heroes Issue 10 – Invasion Trailer

The new trailer for City of Heroes Issue 10: Invasion, is now available for viewing. Shawn posted the story behind the expansion back in July, but to summarize it for you, City of Heroes and City of Villains players must unite against an alien threat known as the Rikti. The video “Invasion” provides background on the alien invasion story in a “TV news alert” setting. It shows off man-on-the-street battles between heroes and aliens, with Rikti warships flying overhead dropping soldiers and explosives. The video gives insight into how to best fight the Rikti attack, so it provides entertainment as well as game-play tips.

The Rikti invasion will be taking place until September 22nd, so if you plan on taking part in the Rikti slaughter you better hurry up. The below schedule lists dates in which a 24 hour Rikti Invasion will take place. You can plan on the event starting at approximately 10 AM Central (11 AM Eastern) on each day and then turning off at approximately the same time the following day.
