Chris O’Donnell Lands Role in Max Payne Film

Chris O’Donnell — who hasn’t headlined a film since the forgettable Vertical Limit in 2000 — has been cast in the upcoming Max Payne movie. He’ll join Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis in the film adaptation of the video game playing executive James Colvin. That’s…kind of worrying to hear, since the mention of Chris O’Donnell’s name usually evokes the horrific, scarring memories of Batman and Robin, complete with bat-nipples. That, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him in a really good movie since Scent of a Woman. Who knows though? If Jim Carrey can go on to be a great dramatic actor, anyone can make a complete turn around.
Don’t forget how cheesy he was in The Three Muskateers or basically anything he has ever been in.
Actually, he did a pretty good job of playing a transgender on Two and a Half Men last season.. or maybe it was the season before that – either way he was pretty funny.
I thought Vertical Limit was pretty good movie.
Anyways, lets see how good he does in the movie.
