I can hear the smack talk coming from my headset already: “Oh oh oh! I just turned that pawn into a queen, noob! That’s how we play chess in the ‘hood.” The popular chess game series from all the way back in the 80’s, Chessmaster, is making its way to Xbox Live this January. The game will sport 3D chess sets, hundreds of AI opponents, voice chat, and Live vision camera support. There will also be five original chess variants, including “Message Chess,” which will have you and a partner sending messages with moves back and forth over the course of days, weeks, or even months. But the question remains: will there be an option to tea bag your opponent after a checkmate?
