I had trouble with the Centaurs for a VERY long time, I thought there was a problem with my game as the reticule just wasn’t coming up, played for days and days and then gave up for months, I almost smashed my Playstation at one point. I then decided to try it again but changed the targeting mode to ‘Advanced Toggle’ and it worked straight away !!!! I’ve been gaming since approx 1980 so I’m used to tough sections of games but when little upstart tits like Katie start harping on about playing games it really annoys me, so crawl back under your stone Katie and shut up, people come onto forums for help not criticism.
Folks if your having trouble with the Centaurs try changing your target mode, it worked for me

So, there are many people who got trouble whith the centaurs and the T-Rex… My friends, the secret to beat them is the adrenaline dodge! Once you learn it, the game gets easier! On the beginning of the second stage appears an information of how to do it!

I agree with Tony. I started gaming on an Amiga 500 almost 20 years ago and was 30 years old then. I no longer have 11 year old reflexes and wish I could skip certain things after enough frustrating attempts. But I can kick eleven year old butt in strategy games! So I try to look on the bright side. Like I have plenty of money to buy any game anytime I want without begging my parents.So I’ll just toss this one away. Darn T Rex….

A lot of other websites (and even the game itself) only have the left analogue and the circle to dodge…this is the first web-site I’ve found that mentions the L1 button has to be pressed. If you’re having trouble make sure you have the L1 button pressed. I worked on the Centaurs for 3 days, then I found this web-site. Thanks Jessica!!

I’m having so much trouble with the Centaurs, I’m just going to sell the Game. This is a really disapointing game as TR Legend was a near perfect game, so I expected this one to be just as good. To be fair when it’s good it’s very good. But between the appalling Wall Run (what were they thinking!!!), the T-Rex and now the Centaurs, I’ve had enough.

I’d love to get my hands on the play testers as I think they forget that there are those of us who are only casual gamers, who are slightly ham fisted and just want to sit back, play and enjoy a game for a couple of hours after work. I don’t want to play the same section time and time again for hours and days on end as I get so frustrated that I throw my controller at the TV.

Robert, your game is corrupted.
if you have an earlier save try loading that.

yes, I agree, posting ‘finish a level’ unlocks are really not a cheat, because you have to EARN the ability to use those cheats, while with a regular cheat, it’s just straight up, it works.

Cant find any cheat codes . Saying finish a lvl is a cheat it is not . Pressing bittins on controller is a cheat DOH.What you are posting is in the friggin book!Ive been trying to kill Centaurs over a thousand times . Crosshair never appear on them and when they do get stund I dont know how ? grappling hook will not grab shield . PLEASE HELP ME !

I see there is a god mode for the PC version. Not sure about Playstation though. The T-Rex can be defeated even if you can’t do adrenaline dodge (the adrenaline dodge only works if you’re holding L1 when the screen goes blury and THEN move in a direction and press O to dodge. This is if you’re playing on playstation). It’s good to practice the adrenaline dodge though because it is necessary to defeat every boss. There is a rock you can stand on where the T-Rex can’t get you and you can just kill him from there.
