Cheaters Beware! Fable 2 Pub Games Exploit Getting Patched

You may recall an exploit was discovered not long after the Fable 2 Pub Games was released that allowed unscrupulous players to gain a near endless amount of gold. This raised quite a few eyebrows, since this ill-gotten cash can later be imported into the full Fable 2 game. Well, now it looks like the bottomless money pot is about to run dry. Lionhead Studios has announced that a patch is definitely coming to fix the exploit. They also noted that players shouldn’t worry too much about accruing debt in the Pub Games, since it will only transfer to the full game’s pub, and players can then either pay it off or perform some community service.
No word yet though on if they actually plan on doing anything about the players who already gained a ridiculous amount of gold using the exploit. I doubt they could actually figure out conclusively who cheated their way to success, but you never know.
Unfortunate, that. Regarding the not being able to catch the cheaters, that is. I hope they do and um..hurt ‘em.
I don’t see why it’s such a big deal. So what if a bunch of people use the exploit to become ridiculously wealthy? It isn’t as though this is a MMO game, where they could wreck the game economy for other players or something. As far as I can tell, all they are doing is cheapening their own game play and making the experience for themselves less fullfilling, but that’s their choice.

The glitch for Fable II:Pub Games was fun while it lasted and i do admit that i used it, but i agree with the comment above that it is just ruining the game for us before we even start. If anyone does use this glitch with the actual game then they will beable to buy anything they want and to be honest what the point in that? That would just be a unfair, pointless advantage.
but still, PM couldn’t be able to track down EVERYONE who used that glitch
I mean, there’s gotta be half a mill who used it, and I used LB to max my bet before i found the glitch… So i guess we’ll see
