Activision has released a brand new trailer for Transformers: The Game, and you can watch it in HD! I don’t know about the rest of you, but the more I see of this game, the more I want to play it. Not just for the memories it brings back, but because it just looks awesome. Enjoy!

Webheads rejoice! This week (May 4) marks the launch of Activision’s Spider Man 3 game on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and other platforms. Activision has officially launched the Transformers: The Game website. While many tabs still feature the frustrating “Coming Soon” mouse-over, there is still plenty to see. Not to mention the nostalgic grin factor that comes with hearing Prime rattle off the “Roll Out” command when entering the site. The site also features the multiplayer Battle for the Spark game which allows players to choose a side and compete in one-on-one battles to gain points for their respective teams.

Infinity Ward started laying out hints last week pointing to a major announcement planed for April 28. Activision has now confirmed the announcement is the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare world reveal, slated to air during ESPN’s coverage of the 2007 NFL Draft. Thankfully gamers won’t have to watch the entire monstrously boring ordeal as the press release notes a 1PM EDT airtime. My advice: tune in early, get your CoD 4 fix, get back to gaming.

Custom painted Guitar Hero II controllers created by Celebs from the music, film, art, and sports world like Tony Hawk, Tenacious-D, and Nickleback will all go to the highest bidder. If you’re more of an “in-person” sort, the guitars will be on display at Hi-Lo in Austin, TX March 9-18, and the event will culminate with a live performance by an unnamed rock legend!
