This Wednesday, May 2, three new titles will appear on XBox Live Arcade.
First off is the ever-popular board game, Settlers of Catan, now a console title adapted by Big Huge Games, and known as Catan. Settlers of Catan is one of the most popular European board games, and has sold over 10 million units, and been translated into 25 languages from the original German. Second, it’s a double shot of classic arcade goodness from Atari, with Centipede and Millipede both becoming available as well. “Atari’s classic video games, especially Centipede and Millipede, have had a huge fan base since the originals first entered the marketplace in 1980,” said Emily Anadu, product manager, Atari, Inc.
Catan will be available worldwide for 800 Microsoft® Points and is rated PEGI 3+. Centipede and Millipede will be available worldwide as a joint download for 400 Microsoft Points and are rated PEGI 3+. Not only will a console Catan be sweet, but think of the quarters I can save over the arcade version of Centipede!
