Castle Crashers and Braid Will Cost More Than the Usual XBLA Titles

Well…dang. I was actually wondering if they were really going to sell some of these August XBLA titles at the usual price, since a number of them have spent a long time in development and look to be of a much higher quality than most other Arcade titles. So maybe it shouldn’t be much of a surprise that some of these games are already being reported as having higher-than-usual prices attached to them. According to various Japanese sources, it seems the upcoming Castle Crashers and Braid will be among those to carry slightly higher price tags, at 1,800 ($20 USD) and 1,200 ($15 USD) MS points, respectively. I’d complain, but those two look like they’d be worth the extra dough. Castle Crashers in particular has been in development for years, and definitely deserves to be ranked a little higher than say, Buku Sudoku.
