The new Call of Juarez Enhancement Pack changes the game substantially introducing various changes including gameplay modifications which include:

  • Improved Windows Vista support.
  • DirectX 10 version with improved visuals added.
  • DirectX 10 benchmark added.
  • Re-designed stealth levels for better gameplay.
  • Improved animations in cut-scenes.
  • Many minor fixes.

Requirements:

This Enhancement Pack can be applied only to full version 1.1.0.0 of the game except for version 1.1.0.0 En/Fr/Es-NA published by Ubisoft in North America.

These enhancements will not make the game any better, but at least for those who wasted their money on it, you can get more compatibility for your Vista operating system. Far be it for me to say anything derogatory about Ubisoft, but like everyone else… I know crap when I smell it – but even Ubisoft can be forgiven for releasing sub-par games every once in a while. If you want a great “wild west” game, just go buy GUN.

Sorry, but in terms of vivid and realistic wild west environments this game beats GUN. GUN had more fun towns. I liked both and played both on the Xbox/360

  2. Uggy says:

I thought it was GUN that sucked like sh!t? Call of Juarez was a really nice game when I played it last time. Did something happen or what?
