fuck cod4 and u
Not bad. It ran pretty good, not that many slowdowns. If i recall, this uses Unreal 3’s engine.
gholoom…..fuck off
Call of Duty 4 uses a proprietary engine made by Infinity Ward.
Actually, it uses a modified Quake 3 engine – amazing what that little engine can do… IW has permission from id to rename the engine since they’ve moved on to Tech5. Similar to the blessing Valve got from id for taking the Quake engine, updating it and calling it Source.
Q3 rulz
J.C kicks ass !!!
Awesome! I was gonna get this for the ps3 too, but can’t wait to try this.
Anyone else thinks this looks and plays alot like Call Of Duty 2? ( And dont state the obvious and say that was a WWII game, you know what I mean )
Guess after the recent spat of UT3 engined games i was expecting something, well………… better.
Is this the same demo that was on Xbox 360?
is it a must to have a hardcore graphics card or is it playable with a budget one bocs cod 2 was playable and it look cool
Get 2x ATI 2900HD’s and 4gb of new DomX then this game looks unreal for sure
Hey guys, just a quick question to see if anyone else had the same problem. I just finished downloading the COD4 demo, but when I try to open the installer, it doesnt do anything and then ends up “not responding”. Has anyone else had that problem? Thanks in advance
Nevermind, all set. Just slow as hell to load. Weird.
I hope this is better than COD 2. What I mean is that the graphics were great on COD 2, But COD 1 had better game play.
does anyone know a site where i can get a gaming computer for under $700 that will play most pc games good???
Hmmmmmm, Will a Radeon x1950pro 512mb AGP run this game? Processor is AMD Athlon 64 3200+,Super Talent 2 GB PC3200 ram , 250 GB 7200rpm HD ? I rather know before I waste my time downloading.
AGP x1950pro
YA ur coputer will play it very
well especially with
ur sick memory card
I hope this works well on my new laptop, downloading it atm.
Should be ok on 512mb geforce 7950, 2 gig ram, core 2 duo at 2ghz, even though its recommended with 2.4 ghz
8GB for a demo?
I’m certain that those are the specs for the actual game, not just the demo.
Well, game looks fun, but is it just me or do the graphics look crap? I got a 8800GT, 4G ram, etc and i think i might get this on xbox. Will i see big difference on pc for this game?
get out of town
GOD DAMNIT i just pre ordered the 360 version but just got a pc that meets the recomeneded specs, damn you, now i have to get both versions, i wont be able to live with just the 360 version knowing that i just built a siq computer and not use it for that to, damn

this is so SLOW!!!!!!!! y is it so SLOW!!!!!! DAMN IT SOMEBODY ANSWER ME
OK i have a crappy laptop. AMD Turion 4 X2 mobile technology. friggin 896 mb of Ram crappy ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 Card (128)(197mb Shared) 318 mb Total and 1.5 GHz
Would dat even run it on the lowest setting?
And BTW wth does shared memory mean. If I overclock my comp will it run the game fairly well?
you kidding me im running it with a 1.9 single core, 6800, and 1.5 gb at 50 fps
Was the programming written with dual core in mind?
Looks pretty awesome..
I have Windows Vista Home Premium
Dual core CPU @ 2.4 Ghz
3 Gigabytes of memory
DirectX v10.0
Nvidia LE 7300 graphic card
I’m installing right now and I’ll post the results.
Just can’t get the graphic settings right.
I guess its my graphic card.
The demo is only one mission.
I expected more like in World In Conflict.
Goddam my video card
no wii version either, i guess im gonna have to settle for the DS version
I have a Toshiba laptop with 1gig but running Vista and when i started playing the demo it was so laggy and jumpy.
I went into options and clicked NO, LOW or OFF on everything, switched the resolution to the lowest etc etc and it works fine now.. the graphics are a lot better than COD 2 and 3 even with all the options switched off, the attention to detail is amazing.
Gonna get it for the 360 hope it can keep up with or match Halo 3..
5 stars guys… keep em coming.
Yeah turning down the graphic settings gives the computer a relief and boost of speed. But turning it down doesn’t really give you the full effect of the game and
takes down the screen size which makes the letters and writing almost unreadable.
