Call of Duty 4 Map Pack Now Live for the Xbox 360

Despite the wait and sketchy internet rumors, the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare map pack for the Xbox 360 is finally live. Released at 9:30 EST this morning, gamers are now privy to Broadcast, Chinatown, Creek, and Killhouse provided that they have 800 MS points ($10). The folks that purchased the Game of the Year edition are the lucky ones today, for they have a token for the maps and do not have to pay one red cent.
So stop reading this and go download your CoD4 map pack now, and after you have played around with each map for a while, be sure to come back tell us what you thought of them.

Yes, there is problems with Xbox live it seems because of all the masses trying to redeem prepaid codes/downloading. if it wont let you redeem, i tried on Xbox.com with my account and go redeem points and keep hit refresh, it will eventualy let u redeem codes and then do the same for the map packs, go into the game and download maps, keep trying it will eventualy let u. hammer it
its funny how Xbox live goes to its knees when the masses hit it, and its a paid service, glad its not free i guess. it would be worse, but what can u expect with thousands of people wanting the same thing. the maps are awesome. HAMMER IT!!!
i got the maps free with my game and it tells me to redeem the a code from gameoftheyear.callofduty.com to get a different code for the xbox but every time i go on the site it says its being refurbished but dosent give u a differnt way of getting them

I have the same problem bought the game been waiting nearly two weeks checking the site every day but no joy. I am starting to beleive its just a BIG CON to get you to buy the game hoping that you will get so frustrated waiting for the website to come back up you will just buy the maps. Way for them to make more money i guess!!!
