Call of Duty 4: Game of the Year Edition Announced; Adds Nothing New

If you haven’t played Call of Duty 4 by now, then, well, you’re missing out. But Activision would also like to remind you that it won numerous Game of the Year awards by releasing a “Game of the Year” edition in April. However, the new edition won’t provide anything new outside of some fancy new packaging and a token for a free download of the upcoming map pack over Xbox Live. Yeah, this is pretty much a way to re-release the game and slap award stickers all over the box. Still, if you haven’t gotten around to purchasing Call of Duty 4 yet, this would probably be the version you’d want to get.

Amazing game. Loving every minute of it. MP is fantastic, and the added “leveling up” gives you a huge sense of accomplishment and makes you want to continue to play it over and over.

It would’t be worth it to re buy the game if the new levels only cost 10$.
