Call Of Duty 4 ‘Deep Impact’ Multiplayer Gameplay Video

Last week, Infinity Ward released the first video that revealed some multiplayer gameplay, along with introducing us to the “Last Stand” perk. This week, they released a new video showing off the “Deep Impact” perk.

First thing you may notice in this video is the ability to shoot through certain objects such as floors and walls. This bullet penetration system is something completely new and works for both single and multiplayer games. How much damage your bullets do or even IF your bullets will be able to pass through certain objects depends on 3 variables:

• The Ballistics of the weapon you’re using.
• The relative thickness of the object you’re shooting through.
• The distance between you and the object you’re firing into.

The Deep Impact perk that’s the highlight of this video increases the players ability to penetrate through objects, so weaker weapons that normally would not be able to penetrate through objects will now have a higher possibility of penetrating, depending on the 3 variables listed above of course.
