Sunday, September 30 will be the last day on which you can play the Call of Duty 4 beta. That’s a little more than a month away from the November 5 release date, so hopefully the wait won’t be too hard. But if you’re ready to give up on the beta now, you shouldn’t – the level cap is going to rise from 16 to 25 on Friday, September 28 (at approximately 10AM PST) which will allow you to access a ton of new stuff that we’ve yet to see. That includes the Dragunov sniper and the perks Martydom and Slight of Hand.

You’ll only have those two days to hit level 25 and try out everything before the beta ends. From the blog of developer Infinity Ward’s community manager, the beta has been very successful and has apprised IW of map exploits, seen improvements to the host selection process, and a variety of other things. Hopefully it makes for a better game in the long run.

the beta for this converted me into a COD fan, so don’t miss your chance if you get one. I was not all that impressed with COD 1-3 to be honest. They were fun, but nothing for me to write home to mom about. COD 4 looks like it will be one of the top 5 games. It’s really well done from what I have seen so far in the beta.
