Call of Duty 4 Achievement List Revealed

It looks like Infinity Ward has unveiled the achievements that can be unlocked in their upcoming Call of Duty 4. There will be a total of 37 achievements worth 1000 points overall. Most of those can be gained by completing missions on Veteran difficulty. The rest require you to go out of your way to complete certain objectives, like destroy all TVs showing Al-Asad’s speech. Oddly, there doesn’t seem to be any achievements that can be unlocked in multiplayer though. You can check out the whole list at Achieve360points.com.
right is anyone esle having a problem with the three of a kind achievement cos it doesnt work for me ive knifed like 5 guys in a row and no achievement? is there some special way im meant to do it and whoever asked about how to the end of one shot one kill the easiest way( its abit cheap but oh well) is there are two metal sheds infront of the captain go to the one on his left( if your facing the same direction) and just crawl in there if your lucky all the grenades wont come in and if they do throw them i did it with only like shootin 1 guy abit trackie but that mission is damn hard
The easiest game to get 1000 gamer points is in King Kong all you have to do is beat the game and each level is about 100 points.

and one thing i am not playing with anyone on xbox live dont even think about it i had it with xbox live not but achivment whores and not even playing for fun even the old xobx games arent like they used to be!!!
The easiest way to beat the one shot one kill level on veteran is to go back to the way you came from after you set down the captain and before the enemy helicopters come. If you go back you will see the swimming pool where the dogs were eating the soldiers you go past that and around the corner to your left. Then you will see a metal fence you go towards it until you see an opening in the building to your right. After you see the opening go inside lay flat on the ground facing the direction you came in. After about 5 enemies come to the entrance while you are waiting for the chopper after you shoot them and the chopper lands. when heading for the captain you might want to through a couple flash bangs on your path so the enemies are not constantly shooting while you pick up the captain and take him to the chopper.
If your having troubles with destroying the tv’s with Alasad’s speeches on them there is one or two inside guard posts in Blackout. You also have to look for the tv’s not only in the news building but in other buildings in the first part of the level with combat. There are only tv’s in some of the levels leading up to chalie don’t surf none past it. Just remember to check rooms or structures that have people in them.
When getting the achievement for knifing 3 people in a row I did it in Blackout when you see the first enemy outside of the guard house knife him then go inside and knife the other 2. On this level it is especially easy to sneak up on them because it is night and on easy it is a piece of cake.
To prevent yourself from having to stop an reload on the cargo ship mock up don’t pick up the mk.23 instead use the G36 they give you to shoot at targets in the range. Make sure that both are reloaded then you can just switch when your out of ammo for one.

hey anyone know which is the best way to get the Bird On The Ground achievement ?
The easiest way to get bird on the ground achievement is on the level ‘war pig’ (I think thats what it’s called) when you start the level behind a car, with the tank on the left, theres an old bus in front of you and some containers as well if you run down the right side to the containers there is 3 rpg and two helicopters come over head just look up and shoot.

the man of the people is in hunted you have to wait until your cpt. says pop him before he kills the old man. second, there is one tv in blackout, then continue to charlie dont surf, and make sure you check everywhere
I’m trying to enter the codes to stop the nukes in the air and have a few minutes left but none of the computers will let me enter any code to stop them in the air.
planting c4 and using hand grenades does nothing.

You know at the Training Mission after you complete your weapon practice you then proceed to go to Captain Price at the Ship, on the way you see a Soldier called mac looking over the obstacle course is it possible to do the course?

Wow, lewis your an idiot. Obviously a Halo 3 fanboy. Call of duty 4 is an all around better game, less BS…things are balanced better, game is just in general better. Do us all a favor and get off bungie’s nuts.
its almost immpssible to get the thirdhoresman achivement in cod4. in cod4 ONE SHOT, ONE KILL level is it possible to blow off the dudes head when u have 50 cal sniper or do you always blow his arm off.
3 of a kind – Go on Crew Expendable – at the very start of the level shoot the guys in the control room and wait for Price to open the door, immediately sprint down the stairs along the hall and slash the drunken guard (before price or SAS shoot him) then slice the 2 guards up in the bunk bed.
Bird on the Ground – go to the level where the briefing explains you have to blow up along certain parts of the road, (when you start you should have to fight against a pile of guys ascending a hill) – at the very start of the level go to the church and climb the tower and theres like 60 RPG’s – grab one and help Gaz and the lads against the oncoming force then go to the minigun when instructed.
There should then be around 7 helicopters just waiting to be shot – take your pick.
all al-asads tvs are in charlie dont surf and not in any other levels

Im on the last level, where you run down the tunnel to put the code in a thingy, iam currently at the top of the stairs checkpoint, and can get up to the red flashing lights, and the point where the tunnels go both leftand right.
Cant seem to get any furthr and i must of played this level over 200 times now on vet mode…..?
can anyone gve any tips plz?
The Tvs are only on the Charlie Don’t Surf level but there are about 4 outside the main TV station building and in the last room (level end) you have to make sure you get the ones in there before the level finishes.

how do you save the farmer and on what level because i thought it was the leval when your chopper crashes and he says take them out before he kills the man. which ive done but havent got the achivment

So i’ve successfully saved “the farmer” on the Hunted level and I still have yet to get the achievement… I killed the 3 guys and he ran into the house i dont know what to do T_T

oh and for “the your show sucks” Theres a t.v in the level before does that need to be destroyed?
wow so i was doin the cargo ship mockup….16.99 seconds!!! with the flashbang part, i cooked it and actually let it go on accident early, but it made it in the room…i use a pistol instead of the MP5, reloaded once (after the first three guys) and got -3 seconds for an accuracy bonus….i suggest you use the pistol, reload, and cook all grenades…im pumped lol
