Call of Duty 4 Achievement List Revealed

It looks like Infinity Ward has unveiled the achievements that can be unlocked in their upcoming Call of Duty 4. There will be a total of 37 achievements worth 1000 points overall. Most of those can be gained by completing missions on Veteran difficulty. The rest require you to go out of your way to complete certain objectives, like destroy all TVs showing Al-Asad’s speech. Oddly, there doesn’t seem to be any achievements that can be unlocked in multiplayer though. You can check out the whole list at Achieve360points.com.
I kind of like having no multiplayer achievements. From my observations, multiplayer achievements encourage gamers to play differently just so they can gain achievements. A perfect example of that was Shadowrun. After about a week, half the people on the game were just playing for achievements and not even trying to help their teams win.
I agree with William, sometimes I just play Halo 3 for achievements in multiplayer, after I’m done, I don’t even wanna play it too much anymore.
Just bring out new achivements after then.

i hate online achievements too.
but for a diffren reason, that being cos i dont have access to xbox live, with means i cant get any multiplayer achievements.

online achievements are good but only crap people lose the matches i play halo but not for the achievements because i like the game so much, as for COD 4 i do it only for the achievements, because the game is nothing compared to halo.
some people do not even play different they just play to get better with each wep like GOW.
they cant add more than 250GS to a game because then everyone would want that on there games and that would mean that microsoft would have to spend more money. and they are tight they hate spending money they only like earning it.

if i c someone trying to get the achievement i mess it up for them, you know straight away when someone is trying to get achievements cause they test fire the gun or they can’t even hit u.

to save the farmer go on the level hunted and with for captian price to tell you to save the farmer quite easy really and the 130- gunship is on the next level

Well the easiest game cameron to get 1000 that ived played was fight night round 3 i completed it in about 3 days
CaN Ne One tell me how the hell u complete the achivement with the 20 seconds for the cargo ship mockup thing? cz i dont no what im doing and ive tried this sooo many times…
and also, is al asads t.v achievement only on 1 level? charlie dont surf? and does neone have a list on where the t.v’s r?
the cargo ship mockup is well easy just keep trying it then u will soon be able 2 do it trust me it took me bout 30 tries just to do it so i no what ur facing also i dnt no bout the tvs because im not sure neither
the tv achievement is only in charlie dont surf. there is about 100 tv’s in the big room with all the computers so if you have trouble finding them all in this stage its probably in that room…got that tip from nextgen walkthroughs
well the cargo ship mockup is at the end of the crew expendable level when u r trying 2 escape rite?

and i just finnished the cargo ship mockup and it took a few tries but like he said you learn to know where the targets are and you will have it in no time

cargo ship mockup is the very first stage..the obstacle course
can can the tvs aint all on that level they are all over each level
what do you do to get the acheviment “man of the people” where it says save the farmer?
ok first of all camaron, the t.v achievement is just on the level Charlie Dont Surf.. and second of all stephen the man of the people achievement is on the level The Hunted
when i did the cargo ship mock up i got a bonus for accuracy so i finished the course with like 21.8 seconds but i got a +2.0 for accuracy so make every shot count but make sure to get through the course quickly too.
any1 no where iz the best place 2 hide when u are waiting for the helicopter to arrive and u have 2 pick up that bloke and carry him 2 the helicopter because im on vetern and i just keep dying
Camaron is that the level one shot one kill/all gillyd up? if it is dood thats like the hardest level it took me about 50 trys at least so just keep trying.. cz one of those times u will get lucky and get it just like i did

Did someone actually say that halo3 is a better game than cod4? I can play cod for hours before boredom and halo is more or less the same halo run, gun, grab better weapons before everyone else. There is no depth to halo whatsoever.
any1 no how 2 do the level right at the end on veteren when u run through the tunnels and only got 9min ive tried so many times and always run out of time

about the easy GS points, aside from the much talked about ones, i would say full auto is pretty easy.
and most of the achievements on world series of poker: tournament of champions are dead easy, if time consuming. once youve got going, you can get all of the “tournament completion” ones easy and a few others along the way.
best place to hide on that level would be in the hut just next to the bumper cars, hide and go prone and as close to the font as possible, then when the helicopter arrives let them do some work and when the guy says you have 30 seconds of fuel run to get the guy.
I would suggest fighting off as many as possible before going in the hut however, as you want as few people left when you come out, else you will wait for ages just to get shot as you come out.
mile high club help!! if you have this i wanna see it so i can marvel at the pimpness needed to unlock it . halo needs to go crawl in a dark place untill it looks like golums ass from lord of rings
camaron the best place to hide is where u first come in go put the man down and look straight up u shuld see where the enemy come from theres another path to the right that brings you out looking to where the soldiers are coming from you shuould be able to do this level from there make sure u plant plenty of clayores and c4 u never know when u might need it
Na man uve all got it wrong im not on that level im on the level when u have 9 minutes to go through the tunnels because u have 2 get there before the time runes out for the missiles 2 lauch. ive got 2 check points and im currently on the bit when u have a tunnel exactly opposite of each other with people coming from both ends and i always seem 2 run out of time when im waiting for them doors 2 open. ANY TIPS

u no poker games,, aint there alot of online achievement because i was going to buy “world series of poker” but i fought there was going 2 be alot of online achievements,, can u tell me some of the achievements on world series of poker that are the hardest 1s out of them all

the “poker hand chip series” is kinda hard, in that you need to play a lot of hands before you get the high value hands.
the only really hard one i can think of is the “single hand takedown chip series”, cos you have to be spot on with your timing to get 3 people all in at once, and you then need to win the hand. very trickey!

What is the best score anyone has gotten on the cargo ship mock up. My best time is 18.85 seconds.
all ghilled up is solid anyone no a good way of doing it ive read above but cant see none
all ghillied up is the easiest level in the game. I just beat it on veteran without dying
all you have to do is stay prone when people come and kill them if no one is looking. Nobody will even shoot you. just do what captain macmillian says.

about the cargo ship mock up… You don’t have to use the weapon Captain Price tells you to (MP5 I think)… U only need to equip it once before the rope will glow so you can slide down it, before you do, equip your pistol and reload only once after taking out the first 3 dummy boards while heading down the stairs. Also, begin to throw your flash bangs before you enter the open doors on checkpoints 3 and 6. If you are accurate enough youll only need to make that one reload and will constantly get an accuracy bonus of 3 seconds reduced from your final time. Besides that, since 2 of your 3 burst bullets dont even hit a target you hardly get an accuracy bonus at all… I have all halo 3 acheivements and i got them legitimately… To xbox community, I am FruitCakesnBeer and my overkill acheivement is on my fileshare named startin good… Happy gaming fellas, I’ll see ya around
