Let me comment on this, as it happend to me. Yesterday while playing Rainbow six vegas I got a Disk read error. I took out my disk and there was a ring scratched into it.

I phoned the Xbox 360 support line and after a half hour wait some guy from a forghien country answerd my call. I told him that there was a ring scratched in my game and my xbox 360 has scratched my disk and now its unreadable.

The tech support guy asked me what game it was and I told him it was Rainbow Six Vegas. He put me on hold to see if he could help. when he returned he told me it was a Ubisoft game, and said the disk could be defective and because of the high spinning of the Xbox 360 drive the disk could be warped or a defect in the disk originaly that caused that damage.

when i said ” its not the disk that caused it, it was the Xbox”. he said he couldnt help me any further and call Ubisoft. So i said forget it. and ill just go buy a new disk.

I think no matter what if the Xbox is vertical or horizontal it still shouldnt damage disks. today im less a fan of the Xbox 360.

I will surely keep my disk until the lawsuit gets filed and I hope to have my name on this list. I phoned the Law office that handles the case. and they told me that right now its only for USA games and xboxes. So I guess ill have to wait for a Canadian lawsuit.

I dont think that this Peice of junk xbox should have ruined my disk so easly. I paid good money for that disk. Moneysoft will only replace disks that they publish. any other disk, too bad they say.

So if you live in the USA please get on this list, I can live with a damaged disk but I am not impressed. SCREW U Moneysoft. You will have your day again in court.
