@weclock: And what about ‘The Simpsons’ Burger King promotion? Or having them change every 7-11 into a Quickie Mart? How come that kind of promotion is acceptable, and yet Microsoft promoting Halo 3 pretty much the same way is unacceptable? Last time I checked, The Simpsons “Treehouse of Horrors” episodes are full of violence.

I think people just need to sit back and chill with all of the Halo hate. I’m not a huge Halo fan, I never even played the single-player story, so I honestly could care less about Halo 3. But I know as a gamer that Halo 3 is going to be a huge deal, and quite frankly, if I don’t play it, I will be missing out on a huge step in video game history.

Am I ready to do my best to completely ignore it? Yes.
Myspace is some of the worst crap in the world and now all of a sudden they’re like ‘lol, halo myspace.’
What the hell douche bags, it’s a video game not a god damn movie, or religion or anything.
What’s up with the burgerking promotion?
I hope someone slaps Microsoft so hard with teaching violence to kids, they won’t even be able to develop support for games in their technology anymore (oh wait, they already don’t).
