Bully Patch Still in Certification, Rockstar Announcement Coming Today

Frustrated Bully owners were promised a patch within a week back on March 7, but any patience they might have been willing to demonstrate has long since fizzled away, as two weeks have nearly passed since that promise was made.
NeoGAF was the first to draw attention to the game’s problems, which included freezes, framerate issues, and audio problems. Sam Houser of Rockstar said he was “horrified.”
According to MTV Multiplayer, the patch is currently in Microsoft’s certification queue, which is always a hellacious trip. Rockstar told Multiplayer that they don’t have an ETA on the patch, but did say they would have a “broad worldwide announcement” to make this morning. A release of the patch, perhaps? Or maybe some sign of good will, like free gamerpics? (I wonder if the latter would just make people angrier.) We’re not sure, but as soon as the announcement is made, we’ll let you know what it is.

Why promise something they can’t keep?
