I personally liked the movie too…when I was ten years old. I actually watched it again last year and it had not aged well in my opinion. It’s kind of become one of those movie I’d watch with a bunch of people just to make fun of it. Even forgetting that it’s based on a video game, it still boils down to a high-budget B-movie.

I was mostly surprised to look back at the people who worked on it, since most of them have gone on to become big names in Hollywood. Hell, Alan Sivestri did the music, and then later went on to compose the score to Forrest Gump. Still, this not their best work.

I happened to like that movie also. Then again I viewed it as not a game movie, but a movie based on (inspired by). Kinda like fan made book series which continue a story just based on what they (the fans) feel about the characters.

Yeah, I think it had the kiddies appeal, cause…well, I liked it when I first saw it on TV when I was yonger. The mini bob-omb (or however you spell it) was funny. It was a pretty bad film, mind you.

Also, no where does it mention a new character or feature to the upcoming Smash Bros game. Irrelevance, I say!

Seriously I liked this movie, I was really young when I saw it so I didnt really know what I was looking at but I do remember thinking alot of the stuff was cool.
