Blockbuster’s been having a little trouble lately, what with unsuccessful attempts to usurp Netflix and having to close down a number of their brick-and-mortar stores worldwide. So it’s no wonder that the company is now looking to experiment with some new ideas in pricing and revamping their stores’ format. Ideas have been tossed around that involve setting up interactive stations for children, hubs to download media onto portable devices, and PS3 kiosks. They’re also considering expanding into the online digital distribution realm with their films. We’ll see how this all plays out, but this is sounding like the desperate actions of a drowning company.
