Blockbuster Deals A Blow To HD-DVD And Favors Blu-Ray

This is definitely more great news for Sony. Blockbuster has decided to rent Blu-Ray only high definitition movies in 1,450 of their stores starting next month. Blockbuster was previously renting Blu-Ray and HD-DVD movies in test locations and discovered that approximately 70% of cutomers preferred Blu-Ray over HD-DVD. This could definitely be one more battle that puts Blu-Ray on a course to win the format war.
If the Blu-Ray trend continues, the PS3 will continue to be a more attractive option.
