On 2005 and 2007, both BlizzCon were not the stage for a Diablo game announcement. This broke the community's hope. We have a very strong belief that this is the year. We wanted all the media and fans around the world to know this ... The Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals end on June 29. This is the magical date Diablo II shipped in the USA on 2000. And the same date Lord of Destruction shipped in Europe on 2001. Coincidence?
