Blizzard Begins PR Push for New Title Announcement

As you’d expect, Blizzard has begun the buildup to the announcement scheduled for one week from today. The first step is the new homepage at Blizzard.com. Today, the page shows Warcraft and Warcraft II. Judging from the timeline at the bottom of the page, the images will advance through the Blizzard catalog until the new one is revealed.
Speculation runs rampant over what the new title will be. The folks at Blizzplanet have their list of possibilities, and it pretty well covers it:
- Starcraft 2 (RTS)
- Warcraft IV (RTS)
- Diablo III
- Starcraft: Ghost (Xbox 360 / PS3)
- World of Diablo (MMO)
- World of Starcraft (MMO)>
They postulate some other title, but those are the biggies.
No matter what the title turns out to be, the furor generated by the announcement will be massive.

Ummm….. Diablo is so dead “World of Diablo” sounds like a retarded move… I’m sure no one with half a brain in their head would believe that would be it. Not only that… but Starcraft Ghost was said it would be discontinued indefinitely a while ago… this website needs to get its facts straight hire some new writers.
It’s Blizzplanet’s list you idiot.
It’s GOTTA be StarCraft 2. We, the SC fans have waited SO LONG for a sequel, it’s time they filled our expectations. SC is such a successful game that it would already financially be a very good move for Blizzard, not to mention the massive appraisal it would get from fans! And if you look at Blizzard’s games, you’ll see that they’ve made sequels to both WarCraft and Diablo (and both in this decade), while not to StarCraft (which is by now a 9-year-old game)! IT’S STARCRAFT’S TURN NOW! I really hope Blizzard will make the right decision. We will probably see that in a few hours…
