Blaze and Silver Appear in New Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity Trailer

SEGA sent us a new trailer for Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity today, and just in case you have not heard of the newest title featuring everyone’s favorite hedgehog, it is being toted as “the fastest Sonic racing game for the Wii and PS2″. Play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Jet, Wave, Storm and six other new riders totally eighteen riders in all. Also, for the first time in the Sonic Riders series, you can play as Silver and Blaze. Conquer wicked tracks, use new gravity moves, and pull off crazy tricks in a series of all new environments. The game will hit shelves on January 8th (five days from now) so until then, check out the new video.
And just how much of that did you copy and past from what they gave you? Don’t blame you…Sega, if you can see this; I’m a real Sonic fan. Heck, Sonic 1, with all emeralds, in under an hour. I’d do it over and over.
Give us Sonic fans something to chime about. Give us a real Sonic game that’s kick ass. Hell, I don’t care if it’s of the same design engine of Secret Rings (really enjoyed that) just make it good. Long. And bloody fast. Speed break of Secret Rings should be the slowest Sonic should go. Guys, you can do it, I know you can.

I am nothing more than a corporate shill who says everything verbatim that gaming companies pay ooops tell me to say. For the record, they sent me an advanced copy of the game plus a Sega Saturn full of dust bunnies with the cover missing, along with all of the Ecco the Dolphin games. I also got a box full of Sonic undercrackers and a few bras to match. Inside the box was also an expired gift certificate to CompUSA cica 1999, a stale pack of Dunhill Menthol, and a half empty bottle of tequila without the worm.
Sounds like a good deal
Nah, perhaps I didn’t make my self very clear (and to those other readers who might post); you didn’t exactly come off as enthuthiastic about this new Sonic game. Hell, I love Sonic and since putting Sonic Heroes in my PS2, I’ve found it hard to still be enthuthiastic about Sonic, although Secret Rings helped quite a bit.
No I got what you were saying, and you are right about my enthusiastic nature in the post. I have been highly disappointed with Sonic for quite some time now.
