Blame Retailers for Higher Devil May Cry 4 PS3 Prices

You folks over in Europe that will be buying Devil May Cry 4 on PS3 might be a bit peeved to find out that the game costs £10 more than its Xbox 360 counterpart. Well, why would Capcom do such a thing if the games are essentially identical? According to a spokesperson, the pricing discrepancy isn’t Capcom’s doing.
“We don’t set the prices of our games, that’s at the discretion of the retailer. In this specific instance, the process has resulted in a price difference, but the process itself is not something we completely control,” the spokesperson said.
Alright, so we can’t blame Capcom, but this is superbly lame nevertheless. Luckily North American gamers won’t have to deal with this.

This is unfair we British already pay twice as much for games than americans £45 ($90+) but now we have to pay £55 ($110+) thats absurd.
If you guys are so pissed, go smash a 360 in the retailer’s faces! That’ll beg them to drop the price. lol
:p I just hate the xbox.
I’m not really pissed, 10 bucks is a pittance…get a paper route kiddies!
“Luckily North American gamers won’t have to deal with this.”
But if they try to cheese any extra $ for this game we’ll just wait until it drops in price b-4 buying it. See, that wasn’t so hard.

I agree with you comrade. I don’t know how you UK gamers live with getting fleeced with video games, and now this Devil May cry 4 special assessment comes along.
