Word came yesterday that BioShock on PS3 would have a mandatory 5GB install before you’d be able to start playing. Those hoping the install might give the PS3 an edge in the graphics department are going to find that the difference between the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game are extremely minor at most.
A new comparison video we have up on GameVideos shows the two versions to be nearly identical. The biggest contrast between the two I was able to notice was the 360 version appearing to be slightly brighter — riveting, no? There’s no need to worry about any spoilers in the video, as all of the footage is from very early in the game.
We also have some other new videos of the game in action on PS3 as well as brief impressions of the new super-hard ‘Survivor’ difficulty mode which you can check out here.

Impressive! Even despite this video, some fanboys from each side will come running screaming that their version is better though.
Is there a better quality comparison?? blaa but who cared : D
360 looks more vivid, ps3 washed out. but ps3 has a better framerate. i get this from what i’ve seen in the video.
You always have to wonder what the setups are for the TV…
Doesn’t matter if the video is captured with a Video Capture Card.
blah blah blah .. its ALL personal opinion.
These comparisons are stupid.I own both consoles and played Bad Company and Paradise City on them and i could seriously not tell the difference.Besides, the video footage quality doesn’t do the PS3 any justice.
the 2k team for ps3 made one mistake try to match shader arc like 360 so they redused color but graphics they r close and settings also their a bit off . i own both versions
