BioShock Possibly Coming To PS3 in 2008

As of now, the rumor is a very weak one, but Kevin Levine, a developer for the game, has not confirmed or denied that BioShock may come to the PS3 next year. Like I always say, anything in the gaming world is possible and I think it would be a great move for them to get the game on the Sony system next year. By then, I truly believe the PS3 will really pick up momentum and be in need of more games. The quotes follow the article break.
In a recent interview conducted by Gamepro, Ken Levine, one of the developers working on the game, Gamepro asked him if the game would ever be seen on the PS3, he did not confirm nor did he deny the possibility of the game going on the PS3.However, he replied that “Right now are focused on the X360 version.
GP: Also, another comment you might not be too open to talking about, but will we be seeing or hearing anything about Bioshock on the PS3 down the road?
LEVINE: Right now we’re totally focused on making the game for Xbox 360. Microsoft has been a great partner, we love the platform, and we get to make a PC game as well. That’s great because we come from the PC side, but right now we’re focused on getting the game out the door on the platform that we’re on and that we love.

If it comes out next year it would be to late, it will get crushed by Final Fantasy 13 and Metal Gear Solid 4, both of which are PS3 exclusives.
… which neither are true first person shooters. Granted they all will have epic storylines. That’s what makes them all A+ titles.
I personally can’t wait for Bioshock (PC). It’s here, right now, and that’s all that matters. PC gaming has been desperate for a good single player shooter this year. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. didn’t quite fill that role. Bioshock will fit right in there nicely before Crysis mania hits.
People will buy Bioshock regardless of the platform. People bought Doom for the PSX.
