I'm glad I'm not the only one with the framerate issue. The game is unplayable for me ever since the update. It acts as if the controller stops working for 2 seconds every 10 - 20 seconds of play. I can't play the game at all now.

I went to go play the game thru yesterday for the second time. I was prompted for an update so I accepted. What a mistake! After the patch took affect I suffered horrendous framerate issues everywhere in the game - I even loaded past save games from my first play thru. I sadly turned it off after about 30 minutes of dealing with it. Something literally has gone terribly awry in Rapture, and is now unplayable.

I updated my copy of BioShock earlier today and I did notice some framerate issues when I started my new game. I got nervous a little bit because I just got my 360 back from Texas, so I thought it was just messing up again.

On the positive side, I played for about 30-45 minutes and I didn't notice any framerate issues aside from the opening scene.

Maybe the patch has something to do with the widescreen formatting? I could see this causing framerate issues.
