Bioshock Limited Edition “Big Daddy” Figure

What can you say about Bioshock? The game has gone from marginally obscure to phenomenally popular. There’s just something about being trapped in an undersea environment, chased by lunatics and giant scuba divers. The story behind the limited edition release of Bioshock is an amazing one. The publisher did not want to do one, but the fan reaction was so positive for the release of extra content that they gave in. They asked us what WE wanted in the package, and from the looks of it, they delivered.

A few scans of the materials have shown up online, but this figurine picture gives an idea of how it will look out of the box. Even with the slight blurriness of the image, you get an idea of the quality of artwork awaiting us. The “Big Daddy” figurine just looks fantastic, and it may have just convinced me to spend the extra couple bucks to buy the limited release.
