BioShock Demo Hits Xbox Live Marketplace

We’re all aware it’s Sunday night and we should all be going to bed soon to get ready for our boring 9-5 job, but there’s a reason for you to stay up just this once. A demo for BioShock has just hit the Xbox Live Marketplace.
Yes, you heard right. BioShock. Demo. Marketplace. There should be no reason why you haven’t scurried off to your Xbox 360, fired up that bad boy, and started downloading. Expect the demo to take a while since the file weighs in at a hefty 1.35 GB. Come back after the break to get some of the dash info.

Dash Text: Welcome to Rapture with the official demo to BioShock, the “genetically enhanced†first person shooter. BioShock is a shooter unlike any you’ve ever played, loaded with weapons and tactics never seen. You’ll have an arsenal at your disposal from simple revolvers to rocket launchers and flame throwers, but you’ll also be forced to genetically alter your DNA to create an even more deadly weapon – you. Injectable Plasmids give you ungodly powers: blast electrical currents into water to electrocute multiple enemies, freeze them solid and obliterate them with the swing of a wrench, or create a swarm of attack hornets from your own mutated flesh. BioShock is that rare game in which Brainpower is as valuable as Firepower. You’ll need plenty of both to get out alive.
Good dammit!!!! Why does the Xbox get all the demos??? Stranglehold, COD4 and now, Bioshock?!?!
Two of them are FPS’ which are meant to be played with keyboard and mouse, not some crappy controller. Damn I’m pissed off!! 
It annoys me that two games that got their start on the PC (Bioshock and COD4) are being favored on consoles over PCs. Talk about being given the finger.
At least they are coming to PC, in full glory no less. How pissed would you be if it was totally exclusive? Or even better, coming soon…
I really wish Forza 2 was available on PC. It’s practially a sim. Better controller options and insane aniso/FSAA settings, ftw. Only thing PC users have to look forward to in that genre this year is NFS: Pro Street. Meh.
Well at Cultofrapture.com the threads basicly exploded, but the PC demo wil release later this month it says

I so freakin agree with you man. It’s total bullshit… but, If you remember the complete GRAW 2 game hit the Xbox first before the PC even got a damn demo. That game is so much better on PC than the Xbox. Maybe we are getting more goods in the PC version, that just isn’t quite ready yet.
