Bionic Commando Rearmed: Rated “M” for Head Explodey

According to a bizarre flash message on the Bionic Commando website, the upcoming remake of the NES classic has been rated “M for Mature” by the ESRB. The game, titled “Bionic Commando: Rearmed,” will contain similar gameplay to the original, but with high-definition graphics. Apparently, the “M” rating is mostly due to the game’s ending, which remains true to the old game and has Hitler’s Master D’s head exploding (yes, I just spoiled a 20 year old game, but Capcom did it first). Capcom seems okay with that though, given the quirkiness of their message. I’m still looking forward to this remake more than the brand new Bionic Commando, so I figure a little head explosion never hurt anyone…waitaminute…
