Bionic Commando On The Wii Petition

Online petitions have been a successful way to change the mind of game developers in the past. A new petition asking Capcom to port Bionic Commando to the Wii has surfaced and currently has a little more than 3,000 signatures. People need to keep in mind that it’s rarely possible to port a 360 or PS3 game to a Wii due to the limitations of the Nintendo system. If Capcom were to produce a Bionic Commando for the Wii, they’d probably have to start from scratch.

I also have my concerns considering the fact that 3rd party releases are not selling all that well on the Wii. Some industry analysts have even predicted that most 3rd party producers will abandon the Wii before the end of 2008. I guess we’ll just have to see what happens. I’d personally love to see Bionic Commando on the Wii, but find it hard to believe that it will ever happen.

The call has been put out. Capcom has told the gaming community that if Bionic Commando is ever to be on the Wii, we are going to have to be the ones to put it there. This petition aims to prove to Capcom that the Wii crowd does indeed want Bionic Commando on their platform of choice, and Wii owners are willing to fight for it.
