Bionic Commando Finally Getting a Sequel

All I can say is it’s about time. Capcom has finally announced that the popular NES title, Bionic Commando, is getting a next-gen sequel slated for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Well, it won’t be a sequel, so much as a modern-day remake; but still, this has been a long time coming. The new Bionic Commando will still feature the trademark grappling arm, which you’ll use to swing through through buildings and attack enemies. But will you fight Hitler in this game? Only time will tell.

OMG!!! Yes. I don’t want to sound completly crazy… but I love the songs in this game. You should listen to the remixed tracks at ocremix.org.

I’m guessing this won’t be too much of a stretch for CAPCOM since they just used grappling hook mechanics in Lost Planet. Come to think of it, they could probably just re-skin LP, slap Bionic Commando on the box and call themselves done.
yeah, i was kinda thinking the same thing. it looks like they’re reworking the grappling hook a bit more to make it a weapon and not just a way of getting around. whatever they do, i hope it turns out alright.
