Big-Ish Announcement for Fable 2 Coming Next Week

A spokesperson over on the Fable 2 forums named Sam, who also works for the Lion Head Studios site according to his profile, has given people itching for new information on Fable 2 something to be be gagging over until next week. Why next week you ask? Because that is when an announcement will take place regarding the hyped but not really hyped sequel to the mediocre first installment in the series.

According to Sam:

“A lot is happening. If you are anxious to find out something new about Fable 2, I suggest you make sure you’ve got access to the internet, next week! Yes we are planning something (quite) big-ish.”

Whatever this “big-ish” news is we will be sure to let you know about it the moment we find out. Hopefully this time it will not involve more gambling and hookers. Although that would make Bender a very happy robot indeed.

    look, i know that alot of people hated FABLE because it didn’t live up to the hype they said it did. I personally liked FABLE. Everyones entitled to there opinion, but i say give’em another chance to see if they can really “WOW” us this time around.

    It’s the “once bitten, twice shy” routine…we were promised -so much- in Fable that we simply didn’t get…now don’t get me wrong, i liked Fable too but you gotta understand if people aren’t going to believe a lick of what is going to be in Fable 2.

    I’m on the fence with this one, not getting my hopes up until more material is released.

    @ Davn Kincade,

    So far they have shown an examle of almost every concept they promised. But they did mention Fable II will not be released with online co-op.

    i personally did not hear any hype and got fable lost chapters WAY after it came out and i loved it, and personally i think that fable 2 has a lot to live up to, and i think it does completely.
