Bona Fide Reviews has posted their review of Microsoft’s Zune 80. Also known as the Zune 2, this mp3 and video player offers 80GB of storage as well as most of the options you find on the iPod and a few you don’t. The article is objective and thorough; it gives all the details you may already know, but also mentions some of the lesser known quirks of the system.
This article piqued my interest because my wife’s been looking for an mp3 player to replace the iPod 60GB Photo I bought her that went belly up. Due to problems with service, repair and operation of that iPod, I’m looking for an alternative. She needs at least 50 GB of space for music only so the Zune 80 is the only option from the line. There’s definitely a lot to consider here. I’m afraid of the $15/month all you can download mp3 buffet though. Knowing her, I’d have to buy her another within a year.

Anything From Microsoft should come with warning labels.
1. Use at your own risk
2. Daily Upgrades and Repairs are required
3. To Function as noted additional cost will be incurred.
50GB for music?!
