Well I did like Oblivion it's just the issues I mentioned made me uninstall it. Maybe someday I will when Bethesda releases another OFFICIAL patch. I would of used the community made one however I tend to be wary of such mods because they can conflict with other mods and cause probable unneeded issues. Also Oblivion was in a way higher quality than Morrowind which aside from not having a upfront and noticeable main story line crashed a lot. Gotta admit becoming a member of the 9 rocked. That end quest armor was sweet. I tried to play Shivering however it didn't quite have the pulling power as Knights of the Nine did. Although that Scottish brogue...Oh god! That was some funny stuff they wrote. :D

Games don't have to be good to sell well, they just have to be addictive and fun, even if we get bored of them the masses full of 13 yr. old ADD children will still play the game, which explains Halo 3.

I have to agree that Oblivion had some issues, so did Morrowind though and it has always been put high upon the pedestal of RPGS. Sure there were only maybe 3 voice actors tops (sans the awesome Patrick Stewart who did not have a large enough part) in Oblivion, there were a few glitches, it could be very choppy at times, and third person gameplay might as well have not even existed. However, Oblivion was still a highly addictive and very fun game imo - but it is ok if not everyone thinks so. I value everyone's opinion - not as much as my own, but I still value it (j/k)

Oblivion got boring and repetitive too easily not to mention the engine itself wasn't all that great resource wise. Which is why considering how the same team is working on Fallout 3 I am not gonna be one to fall for Mr Hines's words. I'll let the reviews and possible demo sway me.
