Over at the Imagina 08 conference, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe showed off screenshots of the newest build of Home. They showcase many of the changes that have been incorporated into Home that have come as a direct result of the ongoing Home beta.
The starting area has been transformed from a closed room with a large window into an outdoors area with lots of open room that’s populated with chess games and other things of the sort.
Other areas that have been refined include entrance points to areas such as the Theatre and Bowling Alley so that it’s more readily apparent as to what they are. Various other changes have been implemented as well, and at launch there should be “around eight or nine” different apartments available.
I know I’m very excited for Home to launch. It’s still set for a release this spring, so let’s hope that it doesn’t get pushed back again.
