Ben Kenobi Wannabe Would-Be Gunman Detained In Scottsdale, AZ

Kurt Havelock, a Tempe, AZ man has been taken into custody by authorities after he allegedly dispersed an 8-page manifesto to all local media outlets. Apparently, he had planned a shooting spree at last week’s Super Bowl in Glendale, AZ. For whatever reason, he didn’t follow through with his threats.
Apparently what set him off is the fact that he was denied a liquor license for his bar, “Drunkenstein’s”. His goal was to “shed the blood of the innocent” at the Super Bowl. Of course, this was his secondary target. His original target was the Desert Ridge Marketplace in Scottsdale. Havelock decided against that location considering it was too close to his home. He described Scottsdale as being full of “scum and villainy”. Any Star Wars fan can certainly recognize those words as a quote from Ben Kenobi’s description of Mos Eisley Space Port. I may be mistaken, but I don’t think any psycho wannabe killers have ever referenced Star Wars before in their manifestos. I suppose we are entering a new age. Hopefully, they don’t blame movies and video games for this incident.
The next time you are in Scottsdale, remember Ben Kenobi’s advice; “You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.”
