Behold: The Blue PSP Madden 09 Entertainment Pack

It might not be a golden PSP, but blue isn’t half bad.
Over on PlayStation.Blog, Sony has announced the Madden NFL 09 PSP Entertainment Pack, which will include a limited edition metallic blue PSP. The bundle will of course contain a copy of Madden 09, as well as a “NFL: In Just One Play” UMD, a voucher to download Beats (which is awesome) from the PlayStation Store, and a 1GB memory stick, all for $200. Not too shabby, provided you like football.
I really dig this blue color, although I imagine playing with it would make it look like a little kid’s toy. (I don’t know if that’s good or bad compared with the too-beautiful-to-play, red God of War PSP.) What I’d like to know, though, is why all of these various bundles have to begin popping up immediately after I decide to upgrade to a PSP Lite. Having two PSPs would be bad enough, but three, I simply can’t stomach.
Very nice looking system. However, I just reserved the God of War PSP today (roughly two hours ago, lol) so I’m going to stick with that.
The number of bundles coming out could prove disadvantageous to Sony, though. People who get one color may get rather ticked if a week later a new one is announced that is in that person’s favorite color. That would be like them announcing a yellow or orange one after I pick up the nice shiny red one.
i think this is an awesome PSP bundle and most likely the best next to the Daxter bundle- this is why:
God of War bundle (bad)- cool color but it comes with no memory and the PSP itself looks cheapy. it looks like a cheaper plastic than the others. it also has a face on the back which makes it non- original and if you’re not a huge god of war fan you wouldn’t want that. superbad is super- bad. a bad movie. period.
Madden 09 bundle (good)- Awesome color psp, good game, interesting UMD DVD, 1 gig memory stick included
Daxter bundle (decent)- cool color psp (a little plain), ive never played Daxter but i assume its a decent game, family guy is an o.k. show, and it comes with a 1 gig memory stick
Star wars bundle (bad)- white psp is cool except for, once again, the face on the back, and it comes with no memory. also, star wars is kind of a pain to play on psp due to only one analog stick
Black PSP slim- cool psp (plain black is cool) but it comes with no memory or games or anything so getting a bundle is best because the bundles with memory sticks and games and movies (Daxter and Madden 09) you save around 50- 60 bucks on them with all the stuff included

Any psp is good does not matter whats on the outside. And your gonna want a 2 gig memory stick. 1 gb sucks.
A blue psp is a great addition. As an owner of a Phat Blue system from Japan, it is the perfect system to claim individuality from others who mainly only had black to choose from in the States. The color is an exact match to the Blue slim Nintendo DS, and going to be a US exclusive (except for an accessory pack in Japan…did you think Sony would have left them out? Of course not). I highly reccomend this color. Also, the one thing about this Madden pack seems that Sony is repeating history. Didnt the Blue GameGear come with a sports game…kinda ironic huh?!?

Owning this, and having played the other bundles… this is the best one. If you don’t like football then your stupid in the first place. The PSP is actually a little bit darker than what they show on the front so it doesn’t look like a little kid’s toy. ON the back theres nothing, just the PSP logo which is another plus. I haven’t used the beats yet but my buddy says its awesome. And if your a football fan or just a sports fan your love madden. God Of war bundle is gay because the flaming red and the logo on the back. The new Daxter 3000 bundle is alright but the 3000 is just two things different. I microphone built in that i’ll probably use once and a better LCD screen, that’s it. The daxter game is alright but you get more bang for your buck if you buy this one. BTW NINTENDO DS SUX PSP’S NUTS, THE DS SUX AND IF YOU HAVE ONE AND SAY “OH THEY HAVE BETTER GAMES, WELL THEN YOUR A LITTLE KID BECAUSE THE GAMES ARE ALL MARIO SHIT!”
