Bass Pro Shops is encouraging people to get their butts off of their couches and get outside for a change. Gamers bringing in gently used video games can turn them in for a 15% discount on select merchandise. The games are to be donated to local children’s hospitals with some destined for the troops overseas.
I guess this is the perfect opportunity to see if your skills playing all those fishing video games for the Wii translate to real life. Yeah, fat chance. This offer ends Monday so go on in and catch yourself a deal. You can always write it off as a charitable donation on your taxes next year.
