Atari Reveals The Monsters For Godzilla: Unleashed

“Atari, Inc announced today the meaning behind the mysterious countdown on the official Godzilla®: Unleashed web site. It was revealed today that there will be 23 monsters in the upcoming Wiiâ„¢ title, many of which are making their debut in a game for the first time. This is the largest number of playable monsters ever in the popular series and features two entirely new monsters created specifically for this title”.
I have been looking forward to this title, and excited we now have a little more information about it. The Wii lineup is still a bit soft in my opinion, but this title has the potential to make it a little harder. Godzilla: Unleashed is set to be released this fall on the Nintendo Wii and should sell nicely. The title is also being developed for Nintendo DS™ and PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system. The Wii for now is basically casual gaming fun, but more titles like this may give a more serious edge to the system.

One thing I didn’t mention is that Biolante will also be in the game except you WILL NOT play as him. Biolante is only gonna star as a boss in the game with his own level

Another thing I didn’t mention is that6 King Ceaser and Titanosaurus have been added and Titanosaurus will be having a special beam he shoots fom his mouth that look like sonic circles that was never actually shown in the movie and did you know thatGigan NEVER used his eye beam in any of the movies except for the cluster blast (or shotgun blast) in final wars. Only the games have the eye beam.Sometimes the people at Atari and Toho just make some of these things up.
Hey Im new and Iv been studying godzilla unleashed,ZILLA MADE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!gorgasaurs is unknown but iv got a wii and this game will rock(cause of magmamouth an lightningbug)oh and i heard it doesnt just go fight after fight after fight it lets you run free,swim free,eat free(on game of corse)or fly free only fwee can swim dig and fly all can run though………….just got a call from my girl freind gotta go!

I have been studieing Godzilla Unleashshed a lot and they WON’T be having a lightning bug. Magmouths name will be changed to Obsidius and the other new monster WILL BE Krytalak. Like I said, Zilla might or will not be in it. Good news is it comes out (FINALLY THE RELEASE DATE) on the Wii 12/5/07.It is true you might be able to rome free through out the game to your next location. Though my good friend Godzilla is Cool, if it is a hit and there is a next game then Lightning bug and the other one will be in it. This has been Gojira providing you with all the info on this game AS I CAN!!!!!! So wait until the release date and then all your Godzilla fantasies will come true!Maybe.

Although they’re is a possibility Zilla could be in this game, about a 20% chance. He would be an excellant character, with his speed and hit and run tactic. Also in a PAX video, Atari said they ARE listening to fans, For Example: they were going to put anywere from 16-18 characters in this game but alot of fans were mad about Krystalak and Obsidius so Atari beefed the amount up to 23+ to make the fans happy. 
Although i really don’t think Varan was a good idea. I he isnt a very popular character and doesnt look very interesting. 
Somebody like HEdorah, Gorosaurus, or Manda should be playable.
Varan is in the game because Atari made it that way. Besides, I think Varan would be a good edition to the game. Think of it, he can glide. what is cooler than a monster that can glide across you and attack you from behind. Give him a chance. Sure the old movie Varan the Unbeleivable was a peice of crap but still, give him a chance.
You know, if Godzilla was real then we’d all be dead. Think about it, he can breath fire and weighs 20-60thousand tonsand height is 50-100 meters. Plus Godzilla is immune to all weaponsand could easily destroy the military. Godzilla would also plow through buildings like they were playdough, and there aren’t any other monsters in the world sohe can’t be driven away by one,even if there were other monsters, Godzilla would just kick their butts across Japan. It’s just a good thing he isn’t real

ive been studying the patterns and it seems to me that there still are unrevealed monster slots. On the godzilla website, there are four slots left. the monsters revealed but are not on the site are the two other mecha godzillas[showa and heisei] and the two other godzilla versions[54 and 90's]. These probably wont fill a slot on the site equally. so that means the four slots can only belong to…
1.Orga
2.Biollante
3.Space Godzilla

Number four is unknown indeed, and the only person it could possibly be is Mechagodzilla 90’s. Guys, you need to stop being so hopeful that Zilla will be in the game, HE WAS KILLED BY JETS FOR GOD SAKES AND WAS EASILY TAKEN DOWN BY GODZILLA!!!!!!!!!! Frankly, I don’t think Zilla would be a good edition to the game. THERE I SAID IT BITCH AT ME ALL YOU WANT, I’M NOT GONNA CARE. Well I did like the way he is CGI and all, and not like some sort of guy in a suit, but he didn’t make me feel like it was the Godzilla everyone grew up with and loved in all the other movies. He wasn’t a hero or anti-hero or even a powerful force that can’t be stopped. Zilla was just a villian that wasn’t so powerful and could be stopped
Godzilla resembles the bombing of Hiroshima, but I think he resembles more than that. I think he resembles what the consiquences are when scientists make their silly weapons. I think the message in the Godzilla movies is that mankind is the monster. oh andI also think Godzilla resembles a weapon

I think they should make it for Xbox 360. But yeah I agree with Gojira, Zilla is awesome in all but his is weak! I mean Minilla could probably beat him. But they should put King Kong in the game.

Well i guess your right Gojira, Varan isnt THAT bad.But in order to call him good i have to see his combat style and beam first.
And with Zilla, yeah he was really week in the 1998 film and to bad all 26 character slots have been filled and he wont be in there. 
Oh well at least ive still got my favorite monsters which are Godzilla 90’s, King Ghidorah, Gigan, and Biollante. 
And the game gets released in 6 days! 
But my fellow Godzilla fans I worn you DO NOT GET THE PS2 VERSION! The game has so many glitches like it’ll slow down for 30 seconds then start back up again. And the character models are the same as Godzilla Save The Earth, and Obsidius is a remake of orga(sometimes the game uses orgas roar for him and he has the same moves as Orga EXACTLEY THE SAME)and Battra is a remake of mothra (but doesnt use her sound effects uses Rodan’s).
