UWink, a new restaurant located in Woodland Hills (California – figures!) and owned by Atari and Chuck E. Cheese’s founder Nolan Bushnell – caters to a connoisseur of sorts. The adult gamer. This new restaurant combines the fun of arcade games while serving food fit for an upscale establishment. Interactive touch-screens are back to back on tables, where the guests can play trivia games and order food – much like the “pizza phones” of yore. These displays are also supposed to appeal to women, whom Bushnell feels have been dissed by game developers.
