Atari Classics Evolved – Release Date Announced

Back in August, I posted information regarding Atari Classics Evolved, which is a PSP exclusive featuring classic games from Atari. This compilation title will be available in stores on November 13th and will include such well-known titles as: Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Battlezone, Centipede, Lunar Lander, Millipede, Missile Command, Pong, Super Breakout, Tempest, and Warlords. These titles, presented in both an original and an evolved version, will maintain the original gameplay while adding up-to-date graphics.

In addition to these 11 classics, more than 60 original Atari 2600 titles will be available for gameplay such as Yar’s Revenge, Night Driver, Canyon Bomber and Crystal Castles to name a few. Atari Classics Evolved will feature online leaderboards for the original 11 coin-op games, allowing players around the world to compare scores, and will also feature PvP wireless compatibility for titles that have multiplayer capabilities.
