Asteroids/Asteroids Deluxe Hitting XBLA this Week

This week’s Xbox Live Arcade game is apparently going to be both a classic game and a classic game with updated visuals all packaged into one. On Wednesday, Xbox Live members will be able to download “Asteroids/Asteroids Deluxe,” which contains both the classic version and a new version with flashy, sparkly graphics. The new version will also contain a new “throttle monkey” mode, which promises to make the action even more high-speed. Yeah, it’s not the most exciting addition to the XBLA library, but at least the price seems about right. You’ll be able to download this title for 400 MS points (about $5).
