Assassin’s Creed Patch Fixes Graphical Bugs, Removes DX10.1 Support

Ubisoft said they would be releasing a new patch for Assassin’s Creed, and it looks like they’ve made good on their word. The new patch fixes a handful of graphical glitches as well as some game-crashing bugs. Sadly, the patch also takes away support for DX10.1, as certain cards seemed unable to handle it. It’s kind of weird for them to take away some features, but I suppose this does level the playing field in terms of who can get the maximum graphical output. lol, take away the only thing that my ATI card could do that Nvidia can’t.
I won’t install the patch.
There is an article about the situation here;

I’ve just decided I’m going to probably stick with Ati when I get my next card
