Assassin’s Creed Comic Reveals Plot Spoilers

I should probably start out by saying that this post may contain some major plot spoilers for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed. If you want to wait until you play the game to see the whole story, it’s cool; just scroll on down past this one.
With that said, it seems a comic that will be contained in the pre-order package for Assassin’s Creed has been leaked, and it reveals one major plot spoiler. There have been rumors for a long time about a possible futuristic aspect to the game, but nothing really concrete until now. The comic interweaves the story of Altair Ibn-La Ahad, whom many gamers are already familiar with, and Desmond Miles, a young man kept prisoner by the Abstergo corporation in the year 2012. A quick internet search shows more rumors that Miles may be Altair’s direct descendant or possibly Altair himself, and that the whole story actually revolves around a time traveler sent back to stop the Crusades. Considering the word “abstergo” is Latin for “to wipe off/clean away,” that theory doesn’t seem all that far fetched. You can read the full comic after the break. Thanks to Norbit for the heads up!

Wow this game may be nice having the potential to be like a prince of Persia and Splinter cell and a third crusade mix. but i hope ubisoft doesnt screw up the game too much because it might be very unsatisfying i dont know how they would mix ScFi and third crusade together to make a delicious smoothie???
Guess we have to wait to find out.
in the mean time play Halo 3
i think if assassins creed does have a sci fi twist i think it wont be so good!
WHY WASN’T IT RELEASED YESTERDAY!!!!????
The sci-fi twist is that a group of people think that DNA holds memories, so they find a ancestor of Altair and bring him in. They do this because they are trying to find some Templar Relic. It’s some sort of staff and a bunch of major political people who have had the staff have been assassinated. So they hope in taking in Desmond Miles that they can find out if Altair did take the staff and if so where he hid it.

The twist isn’t a staff, it’s the Fruit of Eden, being referred to as the one eaten by Eve, getting humankind kicked out of Eden.
There is too much hype around this game. Play it and you’ll see that it isn’t all that. The graphics may be phenomenal but the game play is so… lame. It’s so repetitive and it get so boring after a while. I’m so disappointed.
hmmm, im gonna take ur advice and not read this at all… i thought it wouldnt contain plot spoilers, but by the looks of it, it does….. so im gonna wait till AC2 comes out… even if its another year… they couldnt leave it hanging at a better spot though, ac2 is gonna be more anticipated than gta4 i reckon especially for the xbox 360
