Another Call of Duty 4 ‘Double XP Weekend’ Coming Soon

Affectionately known as IAMfourzerotwo within the gaming community, Robert Bowling, the Director of Communications and Community Manager for Infinity Ward has stated on his blog that Call of Duty 4 fans should expect another “Double XP Weekend” realtively soon.
Currently, Bowling is working on the Xbox Live/PSN promotion for the weekend of September 12-14 which he “has a gut feeling” will have a Double XP attached to it. Just in case you are new to this (seriously, where have you been?), what this means is that players can earn twice as many experience points as they battle other gamers from specific playlists.
In addition, Bowling and his team are currently working on Xbox Live banners to help promote it on the marketplace. While he states that this is not related to the new playlist, he hopes to have all of this finished in time so that it all goes down at once.
