Animal Crossing Wii Might be an MMO

It seems perfectly plausible from a gameplay standpoint; in a game all about collecting things, talking to people and making clothes, expanding into the MMO world seems like a natural extension. Edge is reporting that Animal Crossing Wii (which hasn’t been officially announced, although Nintendo has stated that it’s in development) will be an MMO.
This amounts to speculation and rumor so far as I can tell, but if true (and assuming there’s no monthly fee), this would be an incredibly massive hit in my estimation. Animal Crossing has been a big seller, particularly in Japan, and a critical success around the world. Throw in the addictive nature of MMOs, and Nintendo would really have something special.
This only makes sense and is a good step forward for animal crossing.
yeah i agree, that game is naturally suited for an online experience.
For sure. If this DOESN’T happen, I’ll be disappointed. Release it timed with a firmware update supporting HDDs!

What does MMO mean?
I don’t know but in other words it would be like world of war craft and guild wars sort of games, a world where the others players walk around with you.
I love animla crossing and it would be so cool if this could be possible!
