i see nothing wrong... think of it in something like metroid prime 3, where the cont scheme is supposedly the best yet.

I like it. The Metroid expert-feature small boundary box is rumored to be excellent, but this does appear to have a more "human" feel as he mentioned - looking around like a 180 degree swiveling head or tank turret independently of movement and turning. I'd like to see this as yet another control scheme option on future FPS on Wii, I like options and it probably wouldn't be difficult to incorporate.

Good design, I really like it. I am pretty much an all pc gamer and I remember trying COD 3 on the Wii and it almost made me want to cry. It was far from what I expected it to be, but I think it they went back and used this method, it would be much better. Good luck with your programing and make lots of cash:)

Finaly someone understands how the wii sucks for first person shooters.

I was very dissapointed with call of duty 3 because it was so cumbersome compared to Day of Defeat (pc)

I think the problem is that the wii remote isn't quite like a mouse. I really hope the developers try this idea because the way it is now I'm never going to buy another shooter.

Side note:
I did try one shooter I liked however, it was on supermonkeyball on wii and was a mini game. It's sad when you can make a minigame interface better than Activisions call of duty 3.

I like this alot.... I think it could and should be implemented.... But I dont believe hardcore games are the Wii's strongpoint, I own one, and I'll tell you, I see it being much more of an Indie machine than anything... seeing Indie games on this thing like Sumotori would be great great fun on the Wii...

You know, I wasn't convinced at first, but, thinking about it, it really could work. Considering 'tanks in Battlefield' are actually pretty easy to use, doing that all the time wouldn't be much hassle. I'd be interested if someone DOES go on an uses this idea.
